You Deserve Respect

  • Expect kindness. You should never be rushed or pressured. A respectful photographer will give you time and space.

  • Respect your requests. Avoid anyone who dismisses, ignores, or makes light of what you ask for.

  • No performance. You should never be asked to re-enact painful memories or trauma for the camera.

  • Dignified portrayal. Photographs should show you with respect and honor, never in a way that shames or humiliates.

  • Stop anytime. If you feel disrespected, you have the right to end the session immediately.

  • Be heard. If you are mistreated, tell a trusted person or organisation so your concerns are taken seriously.
